A city

A city almost like any other. Clean, drawn with a ruler, the imaginative places spread out thoroughly instead of one on top of the other. Stylish cafés, restaurants, boutiques with huge shop windows, you can see yourself in them down to the very soul. Bookshops filled until the corners with books from the world’s furthermost corners. The tempting Alps in the background. The Isar, full and proud, lets the snows escape to the Danube. Huge pretzels make the huge beers look appropriate. The trains working efficiently, environmentally friendly and never failing, will take you wherever you wish to go. The people are calm, tolerantly enjoying spring in the beer gardens. Yes, a city almost like any other. A city of the world, a self-confident city, a city to follow.

And only from time to time a swastika casts an eye at you from its hiding place.
